Cuisine Meals are available to all guests staying at the Agritourism. For
non-patrons, delicacies - prepared both on the agritourism and locally – are
available only upon advance booking. Such
delicacies include: salamis and roasts prepared with our own Sienese Belted pigs,
various cuts of Calvana beef, wild boar, chestnut flour tagliatelle, potato
cakes, Prato-style celery, bread soup, Tuscan pecorino cheese (made with
sheep’s milk) with chestnut honey, and our own home-grown vegetables. We
make our own biscuits, such as Vernio zuccerhini, Pratese biscuits (also known
as Cantucci), Riccio biscuits and Florentine ‘schiacciata’ (a savoury
focaccia). The
wine we serve is the splendid Carmignano table wine. If required, we can arrange
the for the tasting of bottles of Barco
Reale and Vigna dell’Iris – both produced in the Carmignano area.
