The honey production is present all over Tuscany, as quoted in several texts and historical documents, providing for a long time integration of the main farm products. Once, every family had some bee hives, rich meal with nutrient and beneficial properties, but it was mostly a secondary production. More recently, some farms encreased and specialized themselves in breeding bees and collecting honey.
Our farm had an excellent honey production for more than 10 years.
Actually, we produce Acacia, Chestnut and Wildfwoer (Millefiori) honey and, for a long time, our honey has been a base for the production of some local beers.
